Event Details
Once they realized how many people we had to attend the November 12 meeting, the Council moved the comment section to 12/3/2024.
Some City Council members are pushing for more rent control, lower rent caps, and the creation of a rent registry and registry board, ignoring what the community truly needs. We need your help to protect your rights as a housing provider.
For nearly a decade, we’ve fought against increasing rent control in Santa Barbara County, advocating for real solutions to the housing crisis:
- Education
- Expanding affordable housing
- Public-private partnerships
- Employer-sponsored housing
Now is the time to ACT!
We need your support. Here’s how:
Attend the City Council meeting on November 12 to make your voice heard. It’s time to speak up!
Can’t attend in person? Attend virtually. Link will be available on November 8th on the SBRPA website.
Watch your email for more information coming the first week of November.
If you don’t TAKE ACTION, who will?
Your participation matters! We estimate time for comments to begin around 2:30PM and will update members as details become available.
